We honor the tribal nations who have served as caretakers of this land from time immemorial and respectfully acknowledge the ancestral homelands of the Tohono O’odham Nation and the multi-millennial presence of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe within Pima County. Many of our clients have fled their ancestral homelands because of forces far beyond their control, including violence, colonialism, militarism, and economic exploitation. We recognize that we are all part of a human family that struggles against these forces and we strive towards the liberation of all human beings.
